We built the first community site for San Antonio, rated #3 in the world by Lycos. We built the first and only community-wide, online shopping mall for local businesses to put up a store front and sell their wares, at no cost. We put up San Antonio's first webcam and have planned to add cameras to the River Walk for the past 8 years...now, the time is finally here. We built the first and second, and only, virtual tours of the River Walk and downtown San Antonio. We built and still operate the city's first and only travel-package reservations site, bringing thousands of new visitors to San Antonio's hotels and area attractions.

We did all that for practice, before most people had any idea what the internet was.

Today, we still run our sites but our focus has been on developing leading edge web applications for our clients. With Wi-Fi SA!, our client base just grew by another 12 million. They, and you, will benefit from the freedom and ease with which you'll be able to enjoy broadband access with a cup of Joe in our city's most inviting settings, free.

Beyond email and web pages, we are actively thinking and planning how this community network can be used for delivering next-generation services. Not only to tourists and business people here for a few days, but to everyone within our reach. The lessons we've learned and the experience we've gained through our community projects over the past 10 years will help us give you the services you'll expect and demand over the next few years. Like what? How about live event video, cool personal communications, exclusive shopping, reservations, tickets, interactive radio, movies, television and things even we are not ready to talk about...yet.

We run our own state-of-the-art data center, host hundreds of business websites and have the equivalent of 28 T1s to handle your broadband needs. And, there's always more where that came from.

So who are we? You might know us as nuMedia. In any case, drop by and tell us what you'd like Wi-Fi SA! to do for you. This is a project for our community and we're open to all ideas and suggestions! We're right in the middle of downtown at the corner of Houston and Navarro in the South Texas Building.

When we moved downtown in 1995, the STB was "ground zero" for San Antonio's internet community, everybody who was anybody had their pipes here. Wi-Fi SA! establishes the South Texas Building as the epicenter for "next-generation internet" for San Antonio and Central Texas!
