Today, wireless internet access in restaurants,
meeting areas, hotels, and public areas is becoming
as expected as a glass of water on the table.
To reinforce San Antonio's growing reputation
as one of the most progressive and business friendly
cities in the country, RTT Enterprises, Inc. announces
Wi-Fi SA!, a new vision for enhancing San
Antonio's business and leisure visitors' experience
with free, wireless internet access.
Always free to users in a Wi-Fi SA! zone,
users will be presented with attractive, informative
web pages providing information about the attractions,
events, restaurants, clubs, shops and businesses
relevant to their current location. Information
about other businesses and areas of the city will
only be a click away. Many new and innovative
features and benefits are planned for Wi-Fi
SA! in the coming months!
Beginning with business and community areas in
the immediate downtown area, Wi-Fi SA!
will expand its coverage in 2005 to other areas
inside and outside near-downtown. Using next-generation
wireless technologies, Wi-Fi SA! will offer
a rich variety of consumer and business digital
services with the ability to offer secure channels
for security monitoring and emergency communications
for first responders.
Hotels, restaurants, cafes, coffee shops, office
buildings, apartment complexes and residential
communities, within or outside the immediate downtown
area, where free visitor access would be advantageous,
should contact Wi-Fi SA! for more information
and a free site survey to determine their location's
suitability for Wi-Fi SA!'s free coverage.
Wi-Fi SA! also offers low cost, broadband
internet access for commercial and residential
tenants.
RTT Enterprises, Inc., is a San Antonio company
bringing years of internet experience and expertise
to meet the mobile communication needs of today's
business and recreational traveler. Working with
SalsaNet, the South Central Texas Chapter of the
Internet Society, a portion of Wi-Fi SA!'s
profits will be used to explore ways to take broadband
internet access to the area's traditionally underserved
communities, neighborhoods and schools.
